It’s my favourite time in my blog schedule, when I shine a light on my incredible clients by way of my The Proust Questionnaire feature. Today we have gorgeous Farah Mak from The Self-Worth Movement. Farah is an actor, writer, presenter, mama to 4 kids and 3 fur babies, and is a passionate advocate for self-worth. Farah’s on a purpose-driven mission to empower, inspire and educate woman and girls worldwide to know their true worth.

The Proust Questionnaire by Farah Mak

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Dancing, singing and laughing with my husband and children…united in love with joy beaming from our smiles.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Oooh…must I pick only one? I do love the experience of flying business class, and have a special space in my heart for exquisite luxury brands like Chanel and Fendi. Chanel has such an inspiring & empowering backstory, and well… Fendi starts with an “F”, so it was made for me, right?

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

Sparkle & shine!

Hey there glitterbomb!

Be your best sparkly self!

(And the occasional f-bomb)

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Creating my own happily ever after – my beautiful family.

What is your most treasured possession?

My wedding & engagement rings – for what they represent, and my wedding dress. Oh, and a jar of fig jam that sits proudly on my desk as a strong reminder of my worth…long, but fab story!

What is your most marked characteristic?

I am an eternal optimist. I always see things through sparkly glitter-coloured glasses, and always search for the silver linings.

Who is your hero of fiction?

Each of the “Worthy Women” characters I have created in The Self-Worth Movement Affirmation Cards. (Shameless plug) If you asked little Farah this question it would be- Rainbow Bright and She-Ra The Princess of Power.

Who are your heroes in real life?

My mum, my husband, my children. Close friends that are aspirational strong women. I also have many female role models that I look up to and am inspired by… Coco Chanel, Dolly Parton, Audrey Hepburn, Olivia Newton-John, and so many more, for so many reasons.

What is your motto?

I am worthy! and motto #2 – Know who you are, what you stand for, and what you want to say!
